Sudip Thapa, 14, is from Jaimini, one of the municipalities in the Baglung District of western Nepal. He is studying in grade 9. he is the youngest child in his family. Sudip’s family income is based on agriculture, but the income is very less for the family members to survive. With an annual income of less than Rs 100000, Jharana’s father managed all the expenses for the family.
Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic took the life of her father. Sudeep’s family is going through an extreme financial crisis. Being the only son of the family, he wants to take full responsibility for supporting his mother and sister, and it is very difficult for him to continue his education. She thinks that he might have to drop out of school to support his family. The Bharosa scholarship can provide her with great support to continue her further education.
